Target

Sidera Christian Equity is aimed at investors who seek significant capital appreciation in the long term through diversified investment in the best listed international companies, respecting the Christian principles of investment in addition to the ESG criteria provided by SFDR art. 8 funds. The objective of the fund is to obtain, over a time horizon of at least seven years, a return higher than the reference index.

Main characteristics

Christian responsible investing represents a marriage between sustainable finance and Christian ethics/principles, allowing these values to coexist in perfect harmony. The Sidera Christian Equity sub-fund has certification of investment compliance according to the ethical principles of the Catholic Church, thanks to the partnership with the specialized company Nummus, which is the Portfolio Certifying Body for compliance with the Investment Guidelines issued by the Episcopal Conference Italian (CEI document “The Catholic Church and the management of financial resources with ethical criteria of social, environmental and governance responsibility”).

Sustainability disclosure

Christian Equity promotes environmental, social and governance ("ESG") characteristics under Article 8 of Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 and it does not currently commit to investing in any “sustainable investment” within the meaning of the SFDR or the Taxonomy Regulation 2020/852. Through a proprietary model of the Investment Manager and based on data from the info provider MSCI, the Fund is assigned an ESG rating which shall be greater than or equal to the rating of its benchmark (100% MSCI ACWI ESG Leaders Net Return EUR Bloomberg NE703303) designated to meet the environmental or social characteristics promoted by the Sub-Fund. With this approach, the Investment Manager, in addition to integrating sustainability risks into investment decisions, aims to ensure that the Sub-Fund achieves and maintains a high sustainability profile. The Arca Fondi Sgr S.p.A has developped an “ESG Policy” that aims at integrating Sustainability Factors and Sustainability Risks into the Sub-Fund’s investment process. The Sustainability Factors integration can be pursued through ESG rating developed from the Arca Fondi Sgr S.p.A and based upon information collected from public and private data providers. All Sub-Funds, including those that do not actively promote Sustainability Factors, remain exposed to Sustainability Risks as further described in section 5.4 (Sustainability Risk) above.
